ARTSHIP Ensemble und presented a series of theater miniature. Throughout the evening at appointed moments scenarios, dances and songs celebrated the special atmosphere of a place, the imagined “guardian spirit” of a place, the people who were there, the people who come from afar.

The fact that Mountain Lake is the site of the arrival of the De Anza Expedition and establishment of the Presidio is one of the discrete generating elements of the scenarios as well as hint of Native traditions of the San Francisco Bay Area and imagined memories of divers immigrant experiences.

This is the third year of collaboration of Neighborhood Parks Council and Artship Dance/Theater
